Dear Scholarship Applicants:
We are pleased to announce the ninth year of the joint UJA-Federation Biller
Fund/Jewish Foundation for Education of Women (JFEW) Scholarship Program.
This program provides approximately $1.4 Million in scholarships annually to
Jewish men and women with significant financial need in the New York Metropolitan
Area.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
This year, students must complete the scholarship application online. The application will be available on March 24th at www.hfls.org. Applications must be submitted no later than June 16, 2008.
The Financial Aid Office at the school must submit a copy of the Financial Aid Assessment Form, that will be available for download on March 24th as well. This form must be completed in full, with information from each student’s 2008-2009 FAFSA only, to be received no later than July 7, 2008.
Please note: For JFEW Health Émigré Science scholarship consideration, the form should be received by JUNE 16, 2008.
Applications missing Assessment Forms will not be considered.

The Society requests that students not call our office to inquire about their award status. Students will be able to check their application status at www.hfls.org to confirm that their materials have been received and their application was completed.
