COSIGNERS

Hebrew Free Loan Society requires two cosigners for every loan. Both cosigners (and their spouses, if any) sign a legally binding guaranty of payment, which makes each cosigner legally liable to repay the Student Loan if the borrower fails to repay. A married cosigner and his spouse are together considered one cosigner. Cosigners must be employed persons living in the five boroughs, Westchester, or Long Island.
