1. Download and carefully review the appropriate application. Please also carefully review the FAQ’s for this program.
2. Once you have identified two cosigners, please call the Hebrew Free Loan Society (HFLS) at (212) 687-0188  ext. 200 to schedule an in-person loan interview. Loan interviews can be conducted, at your option, at our centrally located Manhattan office or at the offices of one of our community partners in Brooklyn or Queens.
3. Please bring all the required documents to your in-person loan interview.
4. HFLS’s Loan Committee reviews and decides on loan applications weekly all year round.

Please note: Failure to submit all the required documents will delay the process.  You will receive a letter advising you whether your loan has been approved.  If your loan is approved, you will be instructed in writing how to complete the loan process by mail.
